We provide just the right level of support

Designed and specially built as an Adult Family Home our  comfortable living environment, and excellent care and service add to the pleasure of living at Holly’s House Adult Family Home.

Each of our 4 residential clients have their own private bedroom and  private bathroom in our smoke free home.   We have a large kitchen with family style dining, a TV room ( great for watching the Green Bay Packers! Other sports and teams can be viewed here too.)  Our lovely yard is quite like being in park with birds singing and various country critters playing around.   

Our clients are generally 50 to 75+years old. Some stay a few months to stabilize before going to their own apartment; others have stayed up to 14 years and passed on with hospice service.

Conveniently located just outside Stoughton with lovely country scenery, we provide a friendly, stable environment offering social/behavioral support in a family home setting.

Specializing with Schizophrenia and Schizo-affective disorder.  Also, PTSD, Bipolar, Depression and other mental health diagnosis.

An Adult Family Home  (AFH) is  licensed by the state of Wisconsin for up to four residents.  

AFH’s provide some essential services including room, board, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, laundry, social services and any supervision needed to make sure everyone is safe and well.

The cost of care in an adult family home can be quite affordable, in fact, even a bit lower than the costs associated with the typical senior living community. Fees are often based on the level of care required.  Contact Holly directly for a service quote.

Due to their small intimate nature, each home is unique.  It’s important to find a home that you will feel comfortable living in, and that can support your individual needs.  It’s great if the home is located an easy commute for your friends and family to visit.  The best way to find out what you want in a home is to come for a visit an see our home for yourself.  

There are generally one or two staff onsite 24 hours a day.  For variety we have a few caregivers on our staff working varied hours.  Some staff are students at UW Madison, or other local college who are pursuing a degree in psychology, nursing, medical doctor  or other health-related field. Other staff are passionate career caregivers dedicated to the field.

We offer various activities.  We customize our activities to individual personal preferences. 

Yes, we can arrange for transportation upon request.

In a word…tasty!  We have good old fashioned, wholesome, healthy food such as fruits, vegetables, and well balanced meals. We also prepare special meals to celebrate holidays with traditional foods.  

Free Haircuts!  We help with hair, nails, bathing and more. We’ll help you look your best.

We have a holistic approach to work hard for each individual, to support them as they need and want.  We follow doctors recommendations for physical health.  We are in close contact with support teams and families.  Daily, we do our best to have our clients feel valued, respected, important and included.
